What do you like about our brand?
I love the golden glamour Starstuffboutique represents. I can imagine Zelda Fitzgerald prancing around in Paris wearing one of the headbands while enveloped in Scott's arms. Or as Cleopatra was pretending to be a siren and seducing another one of her victims. The Starstuffboutique brand is pure magic for the imagination, which makes it absolutely thrilling! I want to feel like a goddess, and that is how Starstuffboutique accessories make me feel.

Where does your mermaid name come from?
Zari is a type of gold thread used decoratively on Indian clothing just as I am a decoration that represents female empowerment and the ocean conservation movements.


What is your favorite product from our brand?
My favorite would have to be the opulent crowns and headdresses. They are so majestic yet extremely feminine. I do have a fond eye for sparkles; therefore, the more diamonds, the better... or pearls hehe.

What inspires you to live the mermaid life?
Do you want the truth? Well here it is, I got bored of regular life. I got bored of regular relationships and regular conversations. You know when Belle is in the field, and she sings, "There must be more than this provincial life!" That was me. So I swerved hard into a completely over the top community and have fallen in love with it ever since. They say there's no such thing as magic, but darling, there is and it's right here.

What do you love about the ocean?
You know when you sit down on the shoreline and the waves slowly sneak up and kiss your toes, and then suddenly they get shy and scramble back into the ocean? That's what I love about the ocean. How playful it is and how wonderful of a home it is for my friends. I also love watching the sunset, embrace the waves and share its warm, welcoming colors with the ocean.


What state is your grotto in?
We are located in Phoenix, Arizona. The land of pools and a year-long tan!

What are your dreams/goals for this year?
My goal is to inspire women who are depressed, unhappy with their lives, bodies, and jobs to take a leap and join me in the world of mermaids. I want them to feel alive and live a healthy plus extremely magical life. I really do dare people to take a step outside their comfort zones and push beyond expectations.

My dream is to create a Merlore card for every single mermaid that wants one. I want them to feel like they belong to the community while also giving back profits to an ocean conservation group. Will you join me?
